A Wonderful Places To Visit In Karnataka
1.Jog Falls
Jog Falls is a waterfall on the Sharavati rive>r located in Siddapur taluk of Uttara Kannada district and its view point in Kargal town of Shimoga district, Karnataka, India. It is the second highest plunge waterfall in India. It is a segmented waterfall which depends on raoin and season to become a plunge waterfall.
2.Lalbhag Botanical Garden
It holds two flower shows and has over 1,000 species of plants with many trees that are
more than a hundred years old. The garden adjoins one of the towers erected by the founder of Bangalore, Kempe Gowda.
3.Coorg(or)Kodagu
It is smallest district of Karnataka is situated between Mysore and Mangalore.Coorg is also known as Kodagu. There are evergreen rainforests, spices and coffee plantations and colonial bungalows.
4.Shivanasamudra
Shivanasamudra is a popular waterfall on river Kaveri, located in Chamarajanara district, bordering Mandya district. Shivanasamudra is a must visit post
monsoon season for the visual treat it offers. Shivanasamudra consists of two waterfall
s- Gagana Chukki and Bhara chukki.

The Big Banyan Tree is a famous tourist attraction in Bangalore. As the name indicates it is a huge banyan tree which is located at Ramohalli.
6.Nandi Hills
The Nandi Hills also referred to as Nandi Durg, about 60 km north of Bangalore, is a popular tourist spot. The site lies within the 2,837 ha Nandi State Forest, comprising three main hillocks over 1,400 m with seven peaks in all. Of these, Nandi Hills is the tallest 1,435 m.
